Expand Your Spanish has been appearing in English-language newspapers in Spain since the late Eighties. The articles have changed over the years but I have to admit that they won’t teach you Spanish although with luck they will help you to learn it (and smile occasionally). And perhaps you’ll learn a little more about Spain, because the bricks and mortar of Spanish can tell you as much about the country as its people, art, literature, architecture and food.
